Before I rant on happily for hours, I must complain that I missed FanEXPO to go to Niagara Falls.
<I'm so happy that I feel like ranting about it>
I really wish I was in China at the time to watch it because the broadcasting here rarely shows the Chinese teams unless it is relevant to their home country. Nonetheless, I'm happy and proud that China was way ahead of all the other countries in gold medals.

But USA pwned us in total number of medals >_>"""
The Gymnastics were one of the most memorable events. All the gymnasts were incredible, their fluid and beautiful movements from the tip of their fingers to the tip of their toes really stunned me to no end. I was especially impressed by 16-years-old American gymnast, Shawn Johnson. She was such a sweet and talented girl.

The Chinese were quite astonishing as well, but it was quite obvious that they weren't all at their best during this performance (and the drama with their age was a bit degrading too)but nonetheless, I was still starry-eyed as I watched it (maybe because I'm biased lol). When the balance beam girl (*shot* I forgot her name atm)fell off the beam my heart seriously skipped a beat, and after that accident she totally lost her confidence and cordination, it was so sad I felt so sorry for her that I cried. So did my mom.
I'm not gonna go to the balance beams because of the age issue but I was really happy with it. Performances, outcome and whatnot.
AND HOLY SMOKES! Phelps really did win all 8 gold medals and by a fingernail too!!! @_@ I'm so amazed. And how many times have I said that! Amazing!~~~~
I was also really looking forward to the 100m men's hurdles but only to see if Liu Xiang beat his record, sadly his foot was injured from the harsh training he went through before the competition. I felt pretty bad for him too

especially since there were so many people bad mouthing him for it like SCREW OFF, YOUR NOT THE ONE THAT IS TRAINING ARG.
And our men's soccer team sucks. They don't even try hard. They just suck. Period.
Our basketball team didn't even make pass the preliminaries, I felt bad for YaoMing because of those pesky reporters and their stupid and I mean STUPID questions. -_-""
The ending ceremony was pretty awesome, even though I didn't get to watch the whole thing. I was at Niagara Falls and I watched it in the hotel when I woke up (and at that point I already missed the beginning part) and then I had to go after I heard half of Song ZhuYing's song. The little kids on the drums were like @w@ LOL THEY ROCKED SO HARD EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD SUCH NERDY HAIR CUTS.
OH OH OH. And the most
PWNAGE (somebody extend my vocabulary bank) part of the WHOLE OLYMPICS- the opening ceremony, well, duh. I expected
alot from China because I knew they worked hard on this (since they spent like $40.9 billion on it) And even with my expectations so high, they really wowed me. I was so moved by all the performances that I cried again during the national anthem (azn pride pl0x ^_^v). Liu Huan and Sarah Brightman singing this year's Olympic theme = win.
I recorded the whole opening and ending ceremony on my VCR (yes, those things still exist, well at least in my household) so now I can
keep watching it over and over!!! SUCCESS!!

I wonder if London is gonna be able to top all that.
by the way, I'm in love with all the recently "chinesepride" songs that so many singers and bands wrote up for the olympics. XD even though they have alot of english verses which they pronounce with terrible accents but WHATEVER.

Oh right, and school is starting soon. LAST MINUTE DRAWING. Yeah right. I havn't been really productive at all this whole summer (due to various obsessions) even though I promised myself to improve. But I have 3 wips that I'm currently working on and hopefully I'll have them up soon.
To the people that havn't noticed, I'm kind of over FMA, so if you watched me for fandom purposes, I'm sorry but I won't be drawing FMA as much anymore

and no my djs are not on sale because I'm still not completely over FMA yet.

New obsessions are kicking in and a new generation is starting! *cues dramatic music*
